چکیده
Rapidly increasing industrialization and urbanization cause serious environmental pollution. Discharge of polluting material from various industries such as smelting, mining, ore processing, metal plating into the environment without treatment causes pollution can have dangerous effects on balance. The utilization low-cost adsorbents biological materials a replacement for costly traditional methods adsorption heavy pollutants wastewater was reviewed. This study aimed to investigate biosorption Pb(II) ions aqueous solutions with NaOH-modified Polyporus squamosus biosorbent optimize conditions. Firstly, parameters most influencing response (initial concentration (Co), pH, temperature biomass dose) were determined using Central Composite Design (CCD). optimum conditions evaluated 60.76 mg/L, 6.3, 25 °C, 0.23 g Co, initial dose, respectively. From conditions, yield capacity obtained 93.8% 23.63 mg/g,

Adsorption of Lead from Aqueous Solution by Modified Beech Sawdust
Sawdust is now being investigated as an adsorbent to remove contaminants from aqueous solution. Heavy metals can be decreased very effectively with the organic material. In this research, adsorption of Pb (II) onto modified beech sawdust in a batch system was investigated. Sawdust was collected from timber mill of Qom, Iran, and modified with H2SO4 and NaOH. Then, the effe...

Background & Aims of the Study: Nitrate is one of the most important pollutants that its reduced form, nitrite, can cause serious problems for human health and environment. Adsorption with cheap sorbents such as Zeolite is the best way for removal of this pollutant. So this study aimed to apply modified Clinoptilolite Zeolite for nitrate removal. Materials & Methods...
متن کاملRemoval Methods of Antibiotic Compounds from Aqueous Environments– A Review
Introduction: Antibiotics as a type of pharmaceutical compounds are widely used in modern medicine and veterinary industries. They enter the environment in different ways, including agricultural runoff, direct discharge of urban wastewater treatment or human waste, direct disposal of medical, veterinary industrial waste and to name but a few. Antibiotics have been able to influence the microbia...
